David Ramey
David and Carla Ramey founded their company in 1996. David had already built a considerable career in Sonoma and Napa. His Chardonnay methods encompass a lot of what we are familiar with in `modern` Burgundy, including pressing brown (oxidised) juice and the use of indigenous yeasts rather than cultivated. In the last few years Ramey wines have become leaner and more elegant with a bit less oak used and less reliance on a rich flavour profile.
