Chateau Pesquie

Chateau Pesquie is owned by the Chaudiere family, and for the last fifty years the family have strived to produce terroir expressive wines from their vineyards in Ventoux. Since 2003; brothers Alexandre and Frederic have held the reins and over the first decade of their control, have gradually made the transition to organic farming, seeing their first few parcels certified in 2007. Now, however, they tend to the entire vineyard biodynamically. Although dense and concentrated, Pesquie`s wines focus on a certain freshness which comes from the altitude of their vineyards (250-400 meters above sea level) and the fact that they are located in the collest micro-climate in the Southern Rhone. These are wines of great balance, aging potential and complexity. (DS 04/04/22)
