Carlos San Pedro gained experience in the vineyard from working with his father from a young age, and in 1998, at the young age of 25 he created Bodegas y Vinedos Pujanza. He wanted to set up his own venture with the philosophy of understanding the land as much as possible, in order to produce grapes of the highest quality
depending on the conditions of the year.
He farms just two varieties (Temperanillo and Viura) over 40 hectares of vines. This is because he wants represent each particular plot and not lose focus of their individualities.
Pedros love and respect for land and tradition is evedient in his wines. These are fresh, subtle wines with elegance and backbone. Enjoyable of the bat, but perfect for lying down. Carlos describes his wines as `new traditional`. (DS 17/02/23)
