Another year in wine
Friday 15 December is our last weekly tasting of 2017. This year, Neil, our store manager, has selected a dozen of his favourite tipples for the festivities and we'll be pouring these from midday so please join us if you can. We'll have a special and familiar guest in Guy Nightingale, who'll be donning his apron and showing Gosset Champagne and Cognac Frapin amongst the other wines.
Timing is everything
Our Bishopsgate shop will be open normal hours (Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 7pm) every working day over Christmas and New Year. We hope to see you in person but failing that, please feel free to call or email with orders, or order online.
Weather or not
If anyone out there is still man enough to tackle the compliance issues involved with corporate gift-giving, we will be delighted to receive multi-despatch orders this week in order that we have the weekend of 17/18 December to assemble, package and address consignments. For simple, one-off kinds of despatch, our normal next day service remains in operation throughout, though the more cautious customers among you may wish to leave a day or two in hand just in case the seasonal mayhem takes its toll on the APC Overnight network.

Like walking? Like wrapping? Enjoy a weak pun? Make a mean cup of tea? Got some spare time before Christmas? We may have a job for you, or you may have a godchild or relative who could be gainfully employed. Think of it as a brief internship but you get paid. /AR
