This is the blend that is made specifically for the UK. 40% Sercial, 40% Verdelho, 20% Tinta Negra. Dry and nutty and for an entry-level madeira, this is gorgeous. Lemons in ginger juice. Unbelievably mouth-watering. Lemon-zested almonds and a touch of golden peach. Bladed finish. Is this the perfect appetiser wine? GV 16.5 points
