The 2024 Pinot Noir Walker Bay, Newton-Johnson`s introductory label, sees 9% new oak and comes mainly from younger vines. Pretty red cherry and bergamot scents unfold on the nose. The palate is quite tart on the entry, with sapid red cherries and a slightly blunt finish. Drink over the next couple of years. 85 points
