The 2024 Fixin Les Crais includes 40% whole cluster this year. This is quite lifted on the nose, the stems imparting a subtle ‘coolness,’ a light marine/briny scent that is tucked behind the red berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, crisp acidity, quite peppery due to the stem influence, though it is proportional to the level of fruit. Good length; this is a well-crafted Fixin that should age well in bottle. 89-91 points

Les Crais has deep soil but with plenty of stones. Mixed vine age, 40% stems. First picked. Redcurrants and raspberries here, a little peppery infusion, some sucrosity to the fruit, perfumed deep cherries all the way through, just enough structure with no hard edges. 89-90 points
