Very dark, bold robe; the nose is joli, languid, shows class, lovely refinement of dark, blackcurrant fruit, a note of mulberry, precision in the aroma - it will curve out very well. The attack is great, bears fluid-suave black berry fruiting, runs on tram lines with polished tannins that gleam. The close is refined, the depth poised. The fruit within is really cool, has sparks of life and energy, the balance right there. It shows a hint of the South on the finish/aftertaste, black olives, ripeness. It purrs along like a Rolls Royce, all together. From 2027. 5 stars
