Decidedly savory, the 2022 Pinot Noir Momtazi opens with a mix of earth tones, flowery underbrush and woodland berries. This is silky in feel, displaying elegant textures and wild berry fruits, further embellished by savory herbs and hints of spice. Echoes of licorice and blackberry linger as the 2022 finishes lightly structured and darkly floral. This is an excellent interpretation of Momtazi. Of note, due to powdery mildew in 2022, the production of Momtazi suffered a reduction by two-thirds. 93+ points
