John Livingstone-Learmonth
(cask) deep red; the bouquet is on soaked cherries, black fruits, with a murmur of violet, a sandy air also. The palate holds cool, flowing dark berry fruits with a swing in its step, racy clear tannins on board, good vigour and brightness: rock n roll hits town. It ends with a lip smacking, fine rock-sand presence, is well established wine - fun and within serious at the same time. From spring 2026. 2043-45 4.5 stars
