William Kelley
Aromas of cherries, berries, loamy soil and toasty new oak introduce the 2021 Les Trois Croix, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy Fronsac with good energy and plenty of charm and character despite its somewhat chunky, extracted profile. 87-89 points
Neal Martin
The 2021 Les Trois Croix is much more subdued compared to recent vintages that I have tasted at this stage. The palate is chewy on the entry, quite concentrated and muscular with a saline finish. It has power yet just misses the finesse of recent high-performing vintages. 88-90 points
Jane Anson
Cloves, white pepper, raspberry, slate, crushed rocks, tobacco, spice, this is well handled, more austere than the past few years, a little austere in its limestone dominance, but well worked and enjoyable. 91 points
