The 2020 Grenache Single Vineyard comes from a parcel planted in 2004 on rocky soils. This is 35% aged in porcelain and the rest in used barrels. It has a fragrant bouquet with brambly red fruit, raspberry, sage and hints of lavender - a nice transparency here. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, nicely judged acidity, dark berry fruit mixed with tobacco and light graphite notes towards the finish. Perfect to drink now, it should give several years` drinking pleasure. 89 points
