Old vines from 1959. Rich deep purple, 20% new wood. Plump and powerful, with more oak evident. Quite a solid style of Chambolle perhaps, but we are on the Morey side. Rich but not overheated raspberry, grainy tannins, just enough acidity. 90-92 points
