Josh Raynolds

Saturated ruby. Highly perfumed aromas of ripe dark berries, cherry, olive and pungent flowers are sharpened by a suggestion of black pepper. Supple and appealingly sweet, offering concentrated black raspberry, cherry-cola and violet pastille flavours and a suggestion of star anise. Finishes pliant, sweet and focused on the penetrating finish, showing smooth tannins and excellent tenacity. 95 points

Whole-bunch fermented and aged in demi-muids (no more than 10% new) Creamy nose with dark fruits, grilled meat and oaky notes. Lovely fruit with excellent acidity and precision. So much energy here and purity too. Introverted and youthful but still packed with vitality. 18 points
