Jane Anson
Sorge family, located in Soussans, high levels of toasted oak and damson puree, sleek and plumped up, enjoyable, plenty of tannic structure, this is aiming to go long. Give it four or five years to soften further. Good weight and mouthfeel, a little less Margaux typicity than some. 50% new oak. 90 points

The 2020 Deyrem Valentin retains its precocious, licorice-tinged bouquet, pressed iris flowers, hints of candied orange peel emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fine acidity, a little soft on the finish but with satisfying length. This will be quite approachable and should drink over the next decade. 89 points
Antonio Galloni
The 2020 Deyrem Valentin is a powerful, opulent Margaux. Ultimately, this feels a bit pushed, with an oak imprint that has dried out the fruit. I find this lacking in both fruit and freshness. Tasted two times. 90 points
