2019 Toro Albala Don PX

Raisins and demerara sugar, a hint of fresh dates and caramel on the aromas. The palate is unctuous and intensely sweet, with dried fruit characters and salted caramel. Some warmth on the finish, and as the sugar recedes the palate softens slowly to leave a creamy raisined note. An excellent PX for ice cream or sticky toffee pudding! (JH 12/10/2023)
