The 2019 Pinot Noir Estate Yu-ki is quite a bit more powerful than most wines in the range. Berries were small, and that resulted in an unusually potent Pinot from this site. Readers will have to be patient, as the Yu-ki will need a few years at least to unwind. This cool, windy site yields Pinots of distinction, but also with a certain feeling of austerity that is especially evident in 2019. Give this a few years to come around. 91+ points
