2019 Charbonniere Vacqueyras

Lovely cherry-jam, strawberry ice-cream aromas, with a touch of kirsch. The palate is rich, framed by ripe, soft tannin, and remarkably fresh, spicy and more-ish. Red berry fruit lingers on the long finish - an easy-drinking style, very well-balanced and very generous in character. Would pair nicely with lamb. (JH 09/03/2023)
