This 2.5 hectare vineyard is planted on poor, granitic soil in the heart of the Saint-Joseph appellation. The harshness of the soil makes vines work extra hard, delivering long lived, structured wines. The 2019 vintage shows great potential with its powerful, austere structure. The tannins are incredibly smooth and indicate excellent aging potential. (NT 10/05/20)

Alistair Cooper MW
Tasted at the domaine. Powerful – intense with a crunchy crackling nose of dark fruits. Violets and fine tannins – powerful stuff and on the roasted/grilled-meat spectrum but with a subtle sense of florality. Very young and needs some time to come together but is all in balance with intensity. 16.5 points
