The 2019 Malvasia Italo & Bruno pulls you close to take in its understated bouquet of Asian pear and yellow apple complemented by minty herbs. This is texturally round, with a mineral core balancing ripe orchard fruits and nuances of sweet spice. It leaves a coating of glycerol concentration while tapering off with a peachy sheen. This is showing so well already, yet it has the depth to mature over the medium term. 91 points
