2018 Tessier Meursault Genevrieres

From the vineyard named after the juniper bushes that once flourished here, this is glorious. Lemon, lime, ginger and white flower, this also has a marked oyster-shell salinity – very Chablisienne. Intense, fresh and complex, this clearly needs aging to help it unfold. The long, powerful aftertaste shows off the quality and profundity here. (NT 08/01/20)
