The 2018 village Rully from Paul and Marie Jacqueson is more or less exactly what I want from a white Burgundy at this price. The nose is soft, inviting and slightly floral with notes of honeysuckle and gardenia. There`s lively acidity to make you want to keep going back for another sip, balanced out with just the right amount of creamy richness and body. The palate is long and I suspect this would improve considerably with a couple of years` ageing. I can`t say this is an especially complex or profound wine right now, but it is certainly delicious and well worth the money. (RRS 7/12/20)
