The 2018 Chablis Vaillons 1er Cru has an attractive nose, honeysuckle and jasmine scents and a touch of flint. The palate is balanced with a slightly honeyed entry, fine weight, though a little rich for my taste and missing some tension on the finish. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2018 white tasting. 87 points
