The 2018 Chablis Mont de Milieu 1er Cru has a lifted green apple, pear and crushed rock nose, touches of oyster shell developing with time in the glass. The palate is beautifully balanced and poised, demonstrating the finest tension and energy among Droin’s Premier Crus, with more bite toward the finish. Superb. 93 points
