Joe Czerwinski
Featuring typical la Landonne scents of mocha and roasted meat, the 2018 Cote Rotie la Landonne also boasts plenty of cherry-berry fruit. Medium to full-bodied, it`s richly concentrated and velvety on the palate, adding notes of vanilla on the long, silky finish. 94-96 points

A highly expressive, complex bouquet evokes ripe black/blue fruits, exotic spices, potpourri, olive and candied licorice. Palate-staining, appealingly sweet blackberry, mulberry, cherry liqueur, vanilla and violet pastille flavors show fine clarity and a supportive core of juicy acidity. Hangs on with superb tenacity on the youthfully tannic finish, which emphatically repeats the blue fruit, floral and spice notes. Made with 50% new oak. 95-96 points
