The domaine’s only vines in the Cote de Beaune – Etienne complains about the long tractor ride to get here! Silky dark fruit from vintage conditions that Etienne says felt more like the Rhone Valley than Burgundy, but he has managed it beautifully. A structured wine, with big, full tannins. A smidgen of cedar and pencil wood on the finish. Should age admirably. (NT 09/01/20)
