Jasper Morris MW
Mostly from Aux Jachées with 20% in Les Chalandins. 50% new wood which it can support, and no whole bunches. Fine bright purple of medium depth. Little bouquet at this point. Rich concentrated fruit, fresh finish on the wood tannins. Good intensity here and length. 89-91 points

The 2018 Vosne-Romanée Village is matured with 20% whole bunch. The 50% new oak is better integrated that I would have expected, allowing red berry fruit mixed with pressed iris and incense to flourish. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, good acidity, a dash of white pepper and a cohesive and quite persistent finish. This has good potential. 89-91 points
