From what may be Meursault’s finest village vineyard, high on the rocky slope above the village. From 3 contiguous parcels at the lower end of vineyard (i.e. by the premier crus), aged 25, 40 and 60 years old respectively. What seems on first tasting to have a lean, mineral & high acid profile goes on to offer increasingly creamy, bountiful, rich and fruit-driven aromas. I was very impressed by the development on show here, and kept coming back to this. The aftertaste is remarkable. A profound wine. (NT 06/01/20)

Toasted almond, touch of butter, cream and ripe lemon. Quite rich palate, with attractive tension and length. 16 points
