Anthony Mueller
The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon surpasses the 2017 Merlot in quality. It offers a bold and juicy core of fruit with a firm structure of earth and wood. Medium to full-bodied and layered with complexity, the palate offers succulent tannins with lively acidity before gliding to a delightfully lingering and subtly spiced finish. This aged for 18 months in 70% new oak. 29,000 bottles were produced. 91+ points

Notwithstanding the 14.5% alcohol, this 40% new wood-aged Cabernet is driven by acidity. Sourced from various blocks on clay, granite, shale and alluvial soils, it`s floral and graceful, with some stony grip and notes of orange zest, cassis and red berries. Classy stuff. Drink 2023-29. 93 points
