2017 Marc Colin St-Aubin En Remilly

Secondary Description
Vibrant, with bags of energy, and lemon and lime fruit - it reminds me of the Starburst sweeties I enjoyed as a child. Plenty of acidity at the front of the palate, and then a herbal touch of tarragon and chicory before a late-palate richness. (NT 21/02/19)

The 2017 Saint-Aubin En Remilly 1er Cru has the most tight-fisted of all the Premier Crus from the domaine, clearly demanding three or four years in bottle. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, just a touch of spice coming through but perhaps not quite delivering the knockout blow like the Le Charmois on the finish. Let’s see what this has got up its sleeve. (DIAM closure).90-92 points
