Given the origin, and the price, this should be fat and fruity - but the aromas are actually quite savoury, with leaf-litter and red fruit (cranberry, raspberry), very restrained and attractive. The palate is soft and delicately spicy, with none of the sweetness one might expect. Very elegant, and a bit of a steal at the price... (JH 28/11/2024)
