The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Clos le Village is matured in 50% new oak. Despite the small reduction, there is fine delineation on the nose, which offers black cherries, red currant jus and pressed violet aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with a sweet, quite candied entry; blue and red fruit dominate here. The candied and quite extrovert finish reminds me of an Amiot-Servelle style of Chambolle. Very fine.90-92 points
