Hautes-Cotes de Nuits Clos St-Philibert
In tank and fined - will be bottled in January. Exceptionally a smaller vintage for this than in 16. Penetrating, power, mandarine. Starts well and flows well across the palate, seems to lack a little acidity , but then has just been fined. Finishes on confit fruit. (CW 5/11/18)

Pale, almost water-white and then very fresh and sleek. Lots of drive and quite enough ripe fruit. Very good for Hautes-Côtes. QGV. 16.5 points

The 2017 Hautes Côtes de Nuits Blanc Clos St. Philibert is attractive, unfurling in the glass with aromas of lemon oil, white flowers and a subtle touch of oak. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with tangy acids but a sun-kissed core of succulent fruit, the cool mesoclimate marrying well with the vintage`s sunshine. 87-89 points
