2017 Allram St Laurent Ried Gaisberg

Smoky, savoury and reductive, with a beefy carbonic note in the aromas, along with macerated red fruit. The palate is light, bright and soft, with a gamey element adding complexity - not dissimilar to Pinot Noir, St Laurent is native to Austria, and produces very serious, restrained wines. This would be perfection with schnitzel! (JH 19/10/2023)
