This vineyard is next to Gruenchers. This wine displays a touch of reduction. It has a very good balance of energy and acidity with rich, ripe fruit. It`s fresh, very long and finishes on the mineral. Still juicy but a bigger, darker wine than Fuées. (CW 9/11/17)

Allen Meadows
A pungent nose offers up nothing but wood and reductive notes today. Otherwise there is a lovely sense of energy to the well-detailed and solidly concentrated flavors that exhibit good depth and persistence on the mildly rustic finish. This is also relatively muscular and will need a few years to round out. 89-92 points

Mid crimson. So different from the Morey Millandes, fragrant with red fruit, and just a hint of herbal stems – adding freshness not greenness. Sweet spice too. On the palate, much more savoury and oaky. Compact and dry in texture at the moment making it a bit hard work for now but there`s fruit at its heart and patience is needed. 16.5+ points
