So Chambolle. Juicy fruit again but riper and darker fruit on this one. Fresh, good fruit, red fruit nose that morphs into the darker fruit on the palate. Complex and long with a fine texture and good matter. (CW 9/11/17)

A discreet but not invisible touch of wood toast can be found on the liqueur-like aromas of plum, violet and soft earth. There is a notably more refined palate impression to the markedly more mineral-driven middle weight flavors that deliver fine length on the dusty and balanced finish. Overall this firmly structured effort is much more elegant though not quite as complex, at least not yet though more complexity should develop in time. 90-92 points
