2016 Marco Sara Verduzzo

Marco Sara has half a hectare of this often underestimated variety. Too many people make a very neutral wine from it like an overcropped Trebbiano and this is more restrained in flavour than his other whites but has good acidity and a nicely fine grip. Good length. (CW 17/5/17)
