2016 Domaine de la Madone Fleurie V Vignes

It is easy to see that the vines are pretty mature at Domaine de la Madone. Those making the Fleurie Vieilles Vignes are between 80-100 years old and planted in rigorously traditional gobelets and wedged into pink granite `soil`. Gamay this intense at a good price doesn`t come our way that often and the sunny and warm 2015 vintage has produced a structured but still joyous wine that will age a bit. (CW 03/03/17)
