This parcel is La Riviere and it may be blended with some Reas, though that is still in malolactic so she doesn`t know yet what`s happening. The 2016 Vosne-Romanee Villages from Berthaut-Gerbet has ripe fruit and is more mineral than the Gevrey. It is darkly aromatic and elegant. Very persistent aromas dominate the long finish.
