2015 Les Amis de la Bouissiere Rose

Not quite a Provencal rose, but hardly a million miles away...Domaine Bouissiere sits at the foot of the jagged Dentelles de Montmirail, not too far from Avignon, and they make cracking wines out of classic southern Rhone grape varieties. Their rose, in fact, puts much Provencal rose to shame, with a delicate bouquet of parma violet complementing the strawberry fruit. Then there`s some crisp acidity to keeps things fresh. This is some properly delightful pink drinking. (NT 07/09/16)
