2015 Goubau La Source (Cotes de Castillon)

2015 Ch Goubau La Source will be the last wine to appear in this guise. It comes from Castillon, close to Pomerol and is owned by one of the world`s most notable Merlot growers: one Jacques Thienpont. However he is only responsible for the elevage of this wine having bought the property just after harvest. However he has a great eye for terroir (why he bought it after all) and this is brilliant value everyday claret for a lady or gentleman of huge discernment but smaller purse. (CW 16/08/18)
