At time of writing the 2015 Pegau Reservee is an absolutely delightful wine; and that`s not an adjective I associate with all Chateauneufs. With a bit of air this is floral aromatically, good red fruits on the palate and more than a hint of herbs. In terms of alcohol, acidity and tannin it is beautifully balanced and structured but silky. It accompanied duck as well as it did Vacherin on two separate occasions and even on day three showed no signs of tiredness. Delicious. (CW 06/01/20)

`Vivid ruby. An exotically perfumed bouquet evokes ripe raspberry, cherry and garrigue, while a suave floral element expands with air. Fleshy, seamless and broad on the palate, offering intense black raspberry and fruitcake flavors that are braced and lifted by a spine of juicy acidity. The floral note builds as the wine opens up and carries through the sweet, strikingly long finish, which leaves behind red fruit liqueur and licorice notes. 93-95 points.`
