There`s a noticable `natural` element on the wines from this producer - a hint of funk on the aromas when first opened, and a red apple character to the acidity. All exceptionally well-managed, however, low-intervention winemaking at its very best! Red cherry and warm spices on the aromas, old leather armchair and dry vineyard soil, very evocative. The palate is delightfully soft, with pliable tannins like the thin skin on a very ripe red apple. Delicious wine, very fine indeed and transcendant in a way that can only be tasted. (JH 04/01/2024)
