Planted in the 1920s, this is one of Vincent Dureuil’s best parcels and a wine that shows how under-rated Rully can be. It’s a white from a very sunny site, made in a Meursault-like style, with 20% new oak, plenty of texture and a smoky note, all underpinned by bright acidity. Drink 2017-24. 94 points
