The 2014 Saint Aubin 1er Cru en Montceau has a more generous nose than some of this domaine`s other 2014 Saint Aubins, a little more chutzpah here - cold stone, smoke and cold limestone reflecting the terroir. The palate is taut and precise with crisp acidity, a slightly chalky texture with a lively, spicy finish that lingers in the mouth. This is a fine Saint Aubin that is worth seeking out. 91 points
