The 2014 Saint Aubin 1er Cru en Remilly has a sense of completeness on the nose, as if taking the best parts of other premier crus and putting them together. Think of it like a Saint Aubin "Greatest Hits". The palate is fresh and taut on the entry, the acidity superbly judged and for me, more complex and vital than the other Saint Aubin. It just gently builds but never overpowers, thereby combining power and finesse to quite magical effect. If you can avoid temptation, give this 4-5 years in bottle. 93 points
