2013 Saladini Pilastri Falerio Colli Ascolani

This is brilliant value, even before you realise that it`s organically grown, which is an expensive proposition. It`s herby, with white plum and dry moutainside fruit and a lovely texture. It`s an evocative wine - you can hear the cicadas and see the little geckos as you drink it. We ought to have more of this, but it always sell quickly. (CW 29/08/14)
