2013 Paul Pillot Chassagne Grandes Ruchottes
Secondary Description
Exhibiting a touch of reduction the 2013 Paul Pillot Chassagne 1er Cru Grandes Ruchottes is a lean, elegant and mineral beast. It does have fruit, which will develop further, especially in bottle, but this is a terroir wine of elegance and very fine texture. (CW 03/11/14)

Notes of matchstick, lemon-lime, acacia blossom and white orchard fruit aromas serve as an elegant introduction to the dense yet elegant medium weight flavors that also exude a fine bead of minerality and salinity. While this isn`t any more complex than the Grande Montagne it is slightly more persistent and a bit firmer as well. One to consider. 90-93 points
