2013 Luis Pato Vinhas Velhas Branco Bairrada

The 2013 Branco Vinhas Velhas is a blend of 50% Bical, 25% Cercial and 25% Sercialinho, unoaked and coming in at just 12.5% alcohol. With reasonable concentration for the level, this has a medley of somewhat exotic flavors on the finish, which has modest persistence. It has its good points, to be sure, but it doesn`t seem quite as successful as some recent vintages that I have seen. There were 17,000 bottles produced. 87 points
