Stephen Tanzer

Pale yellow-green. Precise, scented nose melds lemon, lime, wild herbs and white flowers. Dense, rich and cool in the mouth; much more primary and closed than the Vaulorent, conveying an impression of tactile power and saline minerality. The mounting finish features a sexy element of white peach. Superb potential. 91-93 points

Allen Meadows

This is almost as elegant as the Vaulorent with its airy and very fresh nose of white orchard fruit, dried flowers and abundant notes of mineral reduction. In the same vein the mouth feel of the medium-bodied flavors is both stylish and classy with plenty of minerality present on the smoky, rich and impressively complex finish that delivers grand cru worthy persistence. This is well worth considering and should drink well both young and with 6 to 8 years of age. 91-93 points
